The Beauty Bible: Kick-start Your Bridal Skin Care Regime This Winter
Good morning, beauties! I hope that you’re all keeping warm in this chilly weather. Friday is (finally) upon us and that means that is time for our weekly ‘Beauty Bible’ feature. I have to confess, I adore writing them purely for the fact I get to dedicate a little amount of my time to reviewing, testing and swooning over beauty magazines and counters. All in the name of bringing you the best and most beautiful bridal products – of course!
Today’s post is nothing short of gorgeous that either, as we talk about how to up your game when it comes to skincare, make-up and just in general, looking after your health and well-being especially in this not so kind weather, too!
So, no matter whether you’re getting married in just a few weeks or a couple of years, we’ve got you prepped and primed with today’s feature; giving you the low-down on how to glow from within and look after your skin and body from within.

Fast & Fresh Faced
Don’t leave it until the last minute to think about your skin. The longer you have to correct any skin issues, the better! Using products that contain skin loving exfoliating acids will help to remove dead skin cells, which tend to build up and leave our complexions looking dull and lifeless. Nasty! Removing this dead layer will leave your skin looking fresher and noticeably more radiant!
A product I am and have been crushing over is Sunday Riley’s Good Genes Treatment. Say “Hola” to gorgeous glowing skin and a flawless finish – that’s all thanks to a magical blend of ingredients that works hard to plump fine lines, fight hyper-pigmentation, heal scar tissue and boost circulation. This little beauty really is magic in a bottle.

Food For Thought…
Because beauty starts from within, right?
Start drinking green tea. Not only can this aid you with keeping you hydrated but it can also help contribute to increase metabolism; alongside a good diet and exercise regime, of course. Green tea works as an antioxidant and an anti-inflammatory, this contributes to brighten the skin and even for some, reduce acne and redness.
Seeking other ways to improve your skin through the likes of food? Eat your greens. Super foods can give your skin the boost that it may be craving! Readily available from most super-markets, these fruit and veggies’ will play a vital role in repairing skin, supplying you with essential vitamins and keeping you energised and happy. The same goes for drinking water. By drinking your daily recommended amount, you will automatically be giving your skin a life-line, letting it glow and again, keep your energy levels up.

Magic in Moisturiser
Invest in a good moisturiser for your wedding, and trust us, it will make all the difference! Not only can a good moisturiser provide you with essential hydration throughout blustery winds and snow, but it can too help to keep red skin bay, prevent ageing and work as an essential barrier to protect skin from harsh conditions and pollution.
Keep your skin looking radiant and youthful as ever with Clinique’s Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion. I guarantee every bride-to-be needs a little bottle of this at the moment!

Stay Safe With SPF
If you’re getting married abroad or in the summer or taking a much needed stress free holiday before the wedding, do make sure you wear a high SPF every day, starting from at least a month before the wedding. Oh, and don’t risk sunbathing if you want to avoid unsightly red patches and an un-even tan.
To avoid any fake tan disasters on the big day, book yourself in for a professional spray tan the day, or two before and you’ll be streak free. Make sure you have a trial tan beforehand to make sure the colour suits you and to avoid any chance of a reaction!
