Monday Mood Board: White & Green Wedding Inspiration
Hello, lovelies! I hope you all had the best weekend, what did you get up to? Today’s Mood Board arguably is one of my favourite wedding colours, and I’m sure you will agree. It’s incredibly elegant, classy and oh-so fashion forward, as even shown by the Royals on Saturday! A white wedding is often perceived to be just for winter weddings – however, today we are showing you how you can totally make your summer wedding a white wedding wonderland. Of course, without the snow.
Choose your white wedding to take place in an enchanted castle, opulent stately home or marquee in your back garden. It’s totally up to you. This mornings blog will show you how you can really go all out on this theme from the styling, flowers, fashion and everything in between.

I guess this is kind of the easy part, right? Many brides opt for a white dress, or slightly off white dress as it is. If this is you and you love dressing in all white then you will not have a problem at all. Dress designers we are loving this week are Pronovias and Anna Campbell.
As for the Groom? White suits are very in at the moment however black works just fine with an all white wedding too.
At this point why not decide whether you are going to set a dress code? A formal black tie dress code would be very fitting. However, if you are hosting a wedding by the beach a relaxed/casual look would too work well with this colour scheme. Just make sure you let your guests know what your intentions are via your save the date and final RSVP invitations.
Remember, if you are seeking Boutiques in an area near you take a look at The Wedding Affair approved bridal boutiques. They stock some rather dreamy dresses.

Styling & Florals
Isn’t there just something so pure and elegant about an all white wedding theme? It would without a doubt definitely suit both modern and classic brides.
Remember, a white wedding doesn’t have to be all white. there are lots of ever so stylish ways you can add little pops of colour here and there. We adore the simplistic styling paired with the clean cut branches and foliage a-plenty. Or a little touch of blush and pretty muted pastels work too for a romantic dreamy look.
Below, we are taking inspiration from the Pantone colour of the year, greenery; a refreshing and revitalising shade, Greenery is symbolic of new beginnings and one too, that we loved seeing so much of in the Royal Wedding.
We love how this colour scheme works so beautifully with blank canvas venues, complete with banqueting tables and hanging garlands. It definitely reflect’s the summer months and gives that ‘cool and collected vibe’ – what are your thoughts?

All The Details
Ok, so now for even more pretty…
So, you have already picked the dress of your dreams, you have decided on the dress code and you have spent hours deciding whether you are going to opt for Peonies or Hydrangea. It’s now time to decide upon the sweet treats, signature cocktails and finalise stationery designs for the day to give that final touch of class.
For the perfect white wedding cake we are loving the one below complete with delicate detailing. It doesn’t have to be fussy, I guess less is more in this instance.
Oh, and for those signature cocktails? Check out our blog from a few months ago on White Elder-flower Cosmopolitans. They’re delicious and look SO gorgeous. I’m sure your guests will be very impressed.
