Cocktail Of The Month: Pomegranate Spritzer
Morning lovelies, how are you all today?
I can’t believe how fast is this month speeding by, it’s crazy to think that we are already nearly in September?! Anyhow, before I start rambling on about how I never want summer to end, we have our all time favourite feature of the month, you guessed it… Cocktail Of The Month.
And, you can probably guess why we love writing about delicious cocktails. Not only does it give us inspiration for the bank holiday that is just around the corner, but we also love hearing all about your delicious signature cocktail plans for your very own wedding.
It may not be a Friday yet, however i’m sure that this one will 100% make the cut for your weekend plans (or a cheeky tipple in tomorrow evenings #weddinghour).
If you absolutely adore Pomegranate and Prosecco then this one’s going to be the cocktail of your dreams. It’s a gorgeous concoction of a fruit that undoubtably reminds us of Summer and a drink that is in everyone’s fridges this time of the year. However, it’s also one that will go down a treat in the Autumn, we can thank it’s rich colour for that.
The best part? It couldn’t be easier to put together, making it perfect for large groups and your favourite bubbles on mass.
Pomegranate Spritzer: Pomegranate and Prosecco come together in a deliciously, light bubbly mix in this bright spritzer. And, since this cocktail isn’t overly sweet, it’s the perfect pairing for a more sugary cocktail.
*Ingredients (makes 2 cocktails)
- 60ml vodka of choice (we love Grey Goose)
- 2 tablespoons pomegranate juice
- A scoop of crushed ice
- 100ml Prosecco
- A squeeze of lemon
- Pomegranate seeds for decoration
- Sugar (to taste)
- Add pomegranate juice, sugar, vodka and lemon juice into a container and mix together. (Add pomegranate seeds if you are so inclined). Pour into cocktail glasses filled with ice.
- Fill to top with Prosecco and muddle together.
- Add additional sugar, or pomegranate juice to personal taste, sweetness and tartness.
- Serve to guests and enjoy!
I do hope you have enjoyed this months cocktail, I’ll be sure to make this over the bank holiday weekend! What is your drink of choice for your wedding or special occasion? I’m always partial to something with bubbles in.
Have a lovely day all! x
