CHASH – The Fine Tea Company…
“If Tea Makes Everything Better, Should’t We Be Drinking Better Tea?” If you just love this quote and tea then we have the perfect solution for you. Oh, and of course, with weddings thrown into the mix!
CHASH, The Fine Tea Company very kindly sent me some of their lovely tea’s to try out and review for them. And, with temperatures dropping to below freezing recently, I’m glad they did! Plus on a serious note, who can refuse tea?
Admittedly, we all love tea, and I’m yet to meet a person who doesn’t. Forgive me if I am sounding ‘Typically British’, but tea is something us Brits have being drinking, in the gallons since forever. Also, stereotypical it seems being from Yorkshire would not seem to help the unhealthy tea obsession that we (I) have.
Thankfully, being sent the tea’s from CHASH has made me realise that there is in fact other lovely tea’s out there (other than Yorkshire tea! Even if I do feel like I am betraying them a little…) and so many different varieties I never even knew existed! One of my favourites, the Damask Rose Buds – this pouch was lovely, light and aromatic. I loved it that much I have used it since, and still tastes wonderful.
A Little About CHASH The Fine Tea Company…
CHASH The Fine Tea Company believe that In British life, ‘Tea Makes Everything Better,’ yet they understand that it is a struggle to find quality tea. So, in 2008 they began their own search; hunting for signs that would reveal, why. CHASH found a report that highlighted a significant fall in coffee consumption and a growth in ‘specialist’ teas. But where were all these tea drinkers?
Each weekend they would drive to shopping centres and quiz anyone they could find with a coffee cup in their hand – Their responses were pretty similar: “I like coffee but don’t know where to go for tea.” Spurred on by an obvious demand for quality tea, they decided to enlist the public to help them discover the very best teas. CHASH has now spent 6 years carefully selecting the world’s finest tea’s.
Their very simple aim is to rediscover and showcase quality tea. It is clear that they are passionate about putting fine tea into British tea cups! Not only do they have an online store, but tea is also served in bars and restaurants, cafes, pubs and delis across the country. You can also enjoy CHASH at some rather well-known theatres, galleries and museums.
You will also be glad to know that all the material used for their tea pouches is biodegradable. And, the packaging is suitable for recycling and satisfies the 4 requirements of the EEC Environmental Commission. So, whilst drinking some lovely tea, you will at least have peace of mind, knowing that they will not harm the environment! Fab…
