A little addition to our Metallic Love series of features, because you can’t turn down rose gold, right? On with the sparkle…
Finally, we come to a true Wedding Affair favourite; rose gold. Over the years we have seen more, and more rose gold being featured in weddings. And, there is no surprise really. It’s simply stunning. A true trendy colour, and the best bit? It pairs wonderfully with so many different colour, hues and styles, making for a true winter wonderland wedding, no matter what.

In The Detail
Here at The Wedding Affair we have created this weeks Monday Mood Board using tones and shades of gold and pink, taking different inspirations for your wedding theme, and they just happen to pair amazingly together. We do hope you agree? It is such a sweet, feminine, and classy look. Gold and Pink are two of the most beloved colours for weddings, and together they are twice as nice, you can really do a lot with this colour duo.
So, why choose a rose gold Engagement ring or wedding band… both unique and romantic, rose gold has a warm, pink hue created by combining yellow gold with a copper alloy.
A rose gold ring may be perfect if you are going for a vintage themed wedding, as they are ideal for those with a taste for tradition and vintage style. They can suit both those with warmer and cooler skin tones, if your skin tone changes seasonally, rose gold may be a great choice.
Add a touch of luxury to your wedding stationery by adding a foil stamp that will be sure to leave a lasting impression on your guests. Foiling is a traditional artisan method of hand printing, the card is stamped with a beautiful metallic finish. The eye catching metallic shine will make your stationery feel extra special. Beautiful.

For The Girls…
Add a touch of glamour to your wedding day palette by adding sequined dresses, or mix up different shades of blush for the bridesmaids. They would go perfectly with your Rose Gold theme, no matter what the season. We absolutely love these heels from Ralph and Russo, they would look stunning for either bride and bridesmaid.
The board below serious inspiration with this lush flowing dress. Although not rose gold, a trusty option would be beautiful blush; it pairs with rose gold and makes for a dreamy colour combination.

The Floral’s and Cake…
If you decide to extend your theme through to the flowers why not go for a soft shade of pink for your roses, when they have slightly aged they turn into an absolutely stunning colour… perfect for a vintage wedding, as well.
Be inspired by peonies and a combination of foliage and roses (we’re still obsessing over the Pantone colour of 2017, Greenery). Add an extra touch of sparkle by spraying your flowers with rose gold paint, unique but stylish. Finally, complete the look with a rose gold ribbon or foil to wrap around the stalk of your flowers to add a hint of colour.
Go all out with your cake and add rose gold sequins paired up with delicate blush flowers. Alternatively, a simple white or off white iced cake with cutesy copper accents and rose gold hints would be a suitable choice.
