Let’s brighten a February Monday morning with bright yellow wedding inspiration!
We don’t know about you, but we’re certainly beginning to see the first signs of spring! It may still be cold outside (with snow even forecast for some of you today!) but the mornings are getting lighter and the evenings are drawing in later and later. So, let’s be optimistic and think to spring with this week’s yellow-themed Monday Moodboard!
We love yellow: a strong colour that looks ideal with greys, navy and blue hues. It looks bright, cheerful and fun: surely just what your wedding day should be all about!
Our first Monday Moodboard is inspiring you with yellow attire. Look at those fabulous bridemaids’ gowns from Tb Dress and Knots Villa! We love the sophisticated grooms we spotted on One Wed, who are bringing yellow-hues to stylish suits. Fancy wearing yellow yourself? Look to Love Wed Bliss and Glitter Inc. for statement shoes and belts with your classic white gown.
Yellow flowers are gorgeous bright blooms, so take a look at some of the beautiful bouquets on our second moodboard. We’ve also spotted one of our new favourite venue styling ideas on Something for the Bride: lemons! Using them as part of your yellow colour scheme in vases on your reception tables is a fresh and fun idea that’s perfect all year round.
Our final Monday Moodboard shows of statement colour-themed cakes, cars and cards. We love the sunflowers on the cake we spotted on Pinterest (perfect for a rustic summer outdoor wedding) and the thought of driving off into the sunset in a bold yellow wedding car, just like the gorgeous couple on Green Wedding Shoes.
