Go fresh and bright on your big day with luscious lime green colour scheme.
Spring is upon us, and we’re surrounded by colour! The trees are greener, the daffoldils are in bloom, and – of course – we’re thinking about the fresh, fruity summer drinks we’ll be sampling at our wedding fairs this season!
One mojito later, and we’ve been inspired by a luscious lime green colour scheme for your wedding day. Simply stunning with white, or bold and bright paired with pink, let our Monday Moodboard this week introduce you to this gorgeous shade.
Don’t worry – we’re not going to suggest our brides go for a lime green dress! On your bridesmaids, however, it’s fun and lively colour: the ladies on Pinterest and Wed Loft look fabulous. You could sneak in the colour into your outfit with some shoes (like this gorgeous pair we spied on Wedding O’Mania) or stick with the greens in your flowers; the Inspired By This blooms are a great option for a natural, softer take on the lime green scheme.
Use the lime itself for a fun way to decorate your venue. Go subtle with place cards or table names (we love this idea from Trendy Bride!) or try fruit-filled flower jars for a fresh summer wedding centrepiece. We think the lime display we spotted on The Bride Link is beautiful, especially paired with soft coral roses.
Of course, we couldn’t miss out on the chance to dedicate a moodboard to cake and cocktails, so the third and final moodboard this Monday is all about the edibles! Serve your guests a welcoming mojito, or allow them to fill up on a citrus-packed cocktail (it looks like Bower Power know how to throw a party!). Lime is a deliciously-refreshing summer taste, so why not add to your wedding cake? These Weddbook cupcakes look divine!

Fruit cocktails? A citrus wedding cake? Going bold with lime green and pink, or pairing it down with coral? We can’t wait for you to share your ideas with us at email@example.com.
