Monday Mood Board: A Champagne Wedding Colour Scheme
Good morning beauts! I hope you’re all well and got up to plenty of festivities over the weekend? As you read this I’ll actually be awaking in Paris, we’re having an unconventional Christmas this year! How are you celebrating Christmas eve? To warm up your chilly Monday morning, we’re looking to this refined and elegant colour choice for a wedding.
Champagne is most definitely a popular choice of drink at a wedding, so why not incorporate it into your colour scheme? With connotations of class and elegance, it makes for an absolutely stunning colour scheme to focus all your ideas. Today’s mood board will show you how you can experiment with soft blushes, beige’s and ivory tones to make for a wedding that’s just as pretty as that little sparkling diamond on your left hand.
On with the pretty, I say…

The ‘Latonia’ dress created beautifully by Pronovias would be the perfect touch to your Champagne coloured wedding. The spectacular luxe tulle lace mermaid cocktail dress just shouts sophistication; whereas, the bodice has sheer effect and is beautifully finished off with lace appliqués adorning the front and back of the gown – of course, the dress too is available in a gorgeous champagne colour. Complete the look with some sparkly rose gold shoed and accessories and pair with similar hue’d bridesmaid dresses for your girls.
If you are wanting to create a more vintage wedding, them champagne may be the colour choice for you, too. It will give a traditional, yet timeless feel to your wedding, possibly adding a touch more glamour than other colour schemes might. The fabulous thing about the colour champagne is that more intense hues such as red, plum and metallics will go wonderfully so you can really make it suit your colour scheme no matter what – and any season!

How about a mouth wateringly beautiful cake from one of our super talented suppliers, Poppy Pickering – doesn’t she just create the most stunning cakes? We certainly think so. The cake shown below would fit in well with a champagne colour scheme, adding a touch of glam with touches of gold but with a slightly vintage feel to it with intricate lace details and delicate roses.
Perhaps a Champagne sponge, also? Delicious.

Urban Vintage wedding invitations are the picture perfect mix of both classic and modern for your wonderful wedding. They feature a simple monogram design that is carried throughout all of the enclosures (we profoundly love!) These classic Urban Vintage wedding invitations also feature a block font for the monogram, and a romantic script highlighting dates and locations, creating the perfect balance between old and new, romantic and modern… so chic.
Of course, the drink you have to serve to guests is Champagne! To really make a difference why not feature a crystal glass tower and have Champagne cascading down the glasses, even if no one drinks this, it doubles up as a stunning centre piece for your luxurious wedding.

As for the wedding favours – consider giving our miniature bottles of Moet. Not only will your guests love them, they will fit just perfectly in with your theme and they could even be used as part of the toast or, just a little special memento of the day.
