So, why Autumn?
Autumn is a great time of year to get married, especially for the flowers! Take inspiration from our different Autumnal Mood Boards, featuring beautiful blooms and the best floral’s for your luxurious wedding this Autumn. Oh, and if you’ve not found your florist yet, take a look at the vast range on our Approved Florist List; They create some absolute masterpieces!

Burnt Orange & Fiery Hues
In terms of flower varieties, Calla lilies make a wonderful choice for autumn weddings by adding lots of added structure to designs, whilst tone roses and leucospermum bring texture to bouquets and floral arrangements. For added interest, and, if you are wanting to opt for a Halloween theme… why not ask your florist to include berries and miniature squashes?
The cooler autumnal weather will prompt more creative floral styling as flowers are less affected by the heat, meaning bouquets and decorations can be heartily accessorised with woodland favourites, such as pine cones and bare twigs to give a very seasonal vibe. This is the perfect excuse to go all out with your wedding decoration and truly make your wedding look like a wonderful woodland wedding.
Boho brides, your wedding doesn’t have to be restricted to the warmer months!

Reds, Pinks & All Things Pretty
For the fashion forward bride, Autumn’s classic colour palettes of orange and red are set to fall off must-have lists and will be replaced by softer pastel shades of greys and dusty pinks, combined with rich reds and shades of purple.
Flower choices are extremely luxurious – lots of roses and blousy hydrangeas, which again, will last longer now the temperature is cooler. The use of fresh (or faux) berries adds interest and a true seasonal feel, whilst being subtle and carrying out the colours you are using in flowers.
As the evenings start to pull in consider adding candles to your table top flower arrangements. The overall look is opulent and truly enchanting. Your guests will be mesmerised.
