Our Top 5 Meghan Markle Wedding Gown Styles for the Royal Wedding
All eyes on the bride! With less than two weeks to go to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s impending nuptials, royal enthusiasts and the whole wedding world are guessing what the beautiful bride will wear when she walks down the aisle at the opulent St. George’s Chapel, in Windsor Castle. The yet-to-be-seen piece is rumoured to be designed by couture and London-based Ralph & Russo, who’s work we obsess over. However, we couldn’t help but make our own guesses as to what style the ‘Suits’ actress will opt for on her historic walk down the aisle.

Decadent & Embellished
With the rumours floating around that Ralph & Russo will be designing the Princess-to-be’s gown, we thought we would start with a dreamy and decadent gown, as designed by the label themselves.
The London-based label was recently the first British fashion house to be invited to the Paris Haute Couture shows in a century. Their Haute Couture collection also featured numerous wedding worthy options including a show stopping finale wedding dress that is no doubt worthy of a princess on her wedding day. Ralph & Russo also designed Meghan’s own engagement dress which already gives a nod to close relations with the designers.

As the loved up lovelies will be in the spotlight up-until and a long time after their wedding, all eyes are on Meghan to see which dress designer she will choose, and even design; of course, this will cause trends with many brides taking inspiration from the Princess to-be.
One of the thoughts is that Bride, Meghan will don a gown that is classic yet sensual and stylish with a modern highlight. Perhaps an A-line style such as this Suzanne Neville beauty? It would be a nod to tradition that would be expected and required from the Royal household, but would also show her personal sense of style with perhaps some added embellishments or a subtle plunge.

Sleek & Sublime
Because sometimes, less really is more.
Opting for something slightly different from The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate, we are predicting that Meghan may opt for a sleek number that shows off her figure and has delicate embellishments; such as this beauty below.

Ah, we arrive on the Jenny Packham design of dreams. If you read The Wedding Affair blog religiously you will totally understand that we have fallen (well and truly) head-over-heels in love with Jenny Packham gowns, and her designs on a whole. Although a similar sleek cut to the gown above, this dress features embellishment that cascades from head-to-toe. Delicate, dreamy and decadent; this dress is certainly one that we would love to float around in ourselves.
Meghan, what do you think?

Having already cemented herself as a style icon that likes to break the rules (like wearing a trouser suit to a royal event – shock horror!), speculation as to what she will wear on her wedding day has certainly been a hot topic and although the likely hood of a jumpsuit is next to none, we couldn’t help but imagine that this would be a match made in heaven.
We’re jumping for joy for the trend of jumpsuits that is sweeping the bridal world at the moment, and this pair from Viktor & Rolf are showing us exactly how it’s done. An evening option, perhaps?
