Monday Mood Board: March Inspiration
Hello, loves! I hope that you’re well and that the weekend treated you kindly. I finally made it out of the house to our wedding fair at Wood Hall Hotel (the most idyllic venue, ever?) and even though the drive was an anxious one for me, it was lovely to see so many couples that braved the weather to join us. A big, BIG thank you to all the suppliers that filled the venue with prettiness and the lovely visitors on the day.
Of course, with a new week comes new inspiration and today, we thought we would put together a board that reflects everything that we associate with March. As the winter months and snow starts to thaw and spring reveals it’s pretty pastel hues, the team at The Wedding Affair has been injected with a fresh dose of inspiration. We’ve decided to put it all of our pretty thoughts together in our ‘Monday Mood Board’ feature, which will highlight and showcase all our favourite colours, goings on and everything happening this month.
What’s your favourite thing about March, loves?

Still wanting to represent the chill of March through a deeper colour? The sun may be peeking through the clouds, but if you are seeking a much more traditional look then this gorgeous combination of colours could be just for you. For a softer transitional approach from Winter to Spring, pair with soft blushes, blossom hues (firm favourite of The Wedding Affair, of course!) and light greens for an ever so dreamy colour scheme.
This clean-cut color palette packs a sophisticated punch after a long, colourless winter. It’s lovely for a variety of wedding themes and will no doubt keep your big day super fresh and sophisticated.

Wishing you were sunning it up in the rolling country side of Greece? Don’t we all. Take a nod to warmer days on the horizon with a peachy-keen colour choice.
Terracotta, for many is a colour that provokes beautiful past memories and holidays with loved ones. Exquisite, relaxing, and nostalgic; It’s a color combo that evokes memories from days gone by, so, why not incorporate subtle hints in your Spring time wedding? Peach and delicate beiges and oranges are a sweet color combination if you don’t desire to bring in massively bright shades. As a modern take on classic pink, peach beautifully pairs with nearly any soft spring hue.
With this color combination, every wedding day element is beautiful, colourful, and lovely. From modern elegant to classic vintage, these colors are fit for brides of all styles.
