The Beauty Bible: Lipstick of the Month
Hello, beauties! I hope that you’re all doing very well this fine Friday morning? We’re delighted to welcome you to our pretty corner of the internet for our weekly ‘Beauty Bible’ feature. Of course, today we’re sharing our lush lipstick of the month! What a treat.
Spring is a time to to bring out the satin pinks, gorgeous nudes and softer hues; perfect for making pretty statements with less of the fuss. So, whether you are having a stunning Spring time affair, or just shopping around for the perfect lip colour to wear for your girly hen, you can be sure that we have you covered here at The Wedding Affair.
We search high and low for some of our favourite lip colours (and formulas!) out there so that you can take the guesswork out of the equation. This month, we are choosing another one that is the perfect fit for any style of bride and a colour that is suitable for any time of the year; a winter transition into spring, or perhaps a a swipe during summer, too. We have painstakingly sourced the glossiest magazines, clicked through pages of beauty blogs and flicked rough runway images for a lip colour that not only is perfectly pretty, but too last until the early hours of the morn on your dream day.
Here’s an introducing to the rather gorgeous MAC Cosmetics’ Honeylove.
Mac describes the lovely “Honeylove” as a light beige tone with rose, which is very accurate. This makes for the perfect nude lip colour if you are too, pale like myself. This lush lippy’ contains a lovely blend of the colours that are nor to dark and not too light and the subtle hint of rose makes for the perfect blushing bride, without being too pink. Also, I may add that the colour pay off is incredible and can match a huge variety of skin tones as the ‘honey’ colour is one that is very flattering.
The Subtle, elegant and a extremely beautiful colour is in a matte formula, therefore, like many matte lip sticks from MAC, is extremely durable and the longevity is second-to-none. However, there won’t be any drying lips around here, thanks to it’s velvety and buttery formula that keeps lips nourished, healthy and happy for longer.
Have you tried Honeylove before – what are your opinions on it? Or what’s your nude lippy? We would love to know, beauts!
Have a lovely weekend everyone! x
