Sarah & Jason; A Bohemian, Intimate and Flower Filled Wedding Day
Happy Thursday, loves! I do hope you’re having fabulous week so far? We certainly know for a fact that today’s real wedding is going to bring even more joy to your day. Cue florals in abundance, pastel pretty detailing, a gorgeous gown (for an even more beautiful bride!) and an oh-so dapper groom. The wonderful Sarah and Jason held an intimate wedding reception at Whirlowbrook Hall, choosing the very, very talented Neil of Eternal Images Photography to capture their precious day.
From the bridal prep to the exchange of vows in their local church and a wine filled, celebratory evening; Neil captured it all with such beauty. It for sure looked the dream day.
It’s rare that we get a Photographers perspective on a wedding, so we’re delighted to be sharing with you a little blog post that the creatives from Eternal Images Photography have very kindly written us, showing an up-close-and-personal glimpse into the sublime wedding day or Mr and Mrs Reason.
“On another hot August day we met the relaxed bride, Sarah and her bridesmaids at the family home for bridal prep photos; a well maintained garden provided further photographic opportunities. We left the ladies making final preparations for the big day ahead and took the short drive to St Nicholas Church High Bradfield which was adorned in garlands of flowers. This medieval church is nestled in the dramatic and picturesque Peak District.”
“The groom arrived with many of the guests in a wonderful 1930 bus. We took informal photos as guests admired the panoramic views over Bradfield dales along with groom and groomsmen photos. The beautiful bride and bridesmaids arrived via marvellous vintage Daimlers.”
“A modern ceremony included readings and the exchange of rings – Sarah and Jason were pronounced husband and wife. After a few group photographs the newly married couple and guests left in their vintage transport. We took advantage for photographs as the troupe of vintage vehicles arrived at Whirlowbrook Hall. As guests enjoyed the outside drink reception and games on the lawn we led Sarah and Jason into the grounds for bride and groom only photographs.”
“The wedding breakfast was served to the small and intimate group of family and friends in a very attractively decorated room overlooking the grounds. Speeches provoked much laughter and applause. Informal photographs were taken as the evening guests arrived along with further bride and groom only shots. Early evening it was time for cutting of the cake and first dance and wow what a first dance it was with plenty of people taking to the dance floor and certainly letting their hair down! After photographing everyones moves on the dance floor we ventured outside for a couple more bride & groom only photo’s as the evening light was fading and the sun was setting, what a magical end to a truly magical wedding day!! Extra big thank you to Sarah and Jason”
Thank you, Neil for writing such a lovely recollection of events – not to mention the outstanding photography of such an incredibly stunning wedding!
