Monday Mood Board: Copper Accents
Morning, gorgeous ones! I hope that you all had a very beautiful weekend, can you believe that Guy Fawkes night has already come around? I hope that yours involves all things sparkly, mulled cider and lashings of sticky toffee apples.
As a nod to our favourite winter-time colour, Copper is taking the limelight for today’s ‘Monday Mood Board‘ feature. There’s no lie that this often downplayed colour is lapping up as much lime-light as it can at the moment and, by doing so it is making a firm impression in the fashion, jewellery, home wear and cosmetics scenes.
So, without further adu, let’s talk about how you can incorporate this shining hue into your wedding, be it a Winter, Spring, Summer or Autumnal affair…

Set The Scene
Copper foiled stationery in our eyes, is always and will always be a winner. You can’t go too far wrong with a choice of navy or off-white as a backing colour then a simple message in calligraphy (see below for inspo!).

Flowers & Flair
This look is all about keeping it simple while creating an impact. Choose lush greenery and evergreens such as eucalyptus, Russian olive, herbs such as Rosemary and keep flowers to a staple, no-fuss colour – Gypsophila (baby’s breath), Ranunculus, Hydrangea, Anemones and even Succulents for added texture.
You could even add in herbs such as sage and rosemary at table settings and in boutonnieres to add to the organic look and feel. The pretties winter wedding award will for sure, be yours.

Finally, we come to a true Wedding Affair favourite. Rose Gold.
Over the years we have seen more and more rose gold being featured in weddings, and what better time to use this colour than in your copper wedding (it’s too similar not to call it a copper hue, right?)? The pink hue is oh-so pretty.
There is no surprise really as to why the popularity of rose gold has shot up, it’s simply stunning, a true trendy colour, glittering and the best bit? It pairs wonderfully with so many different colours and styles. Of course, including Copper.

The Little Details
To round off today’s quite frankly gorgeous palette, we’re finishing with some little touches that will make the copper in your wedding day ‘pop‘ and just add a whole lot more fun and fabulous.
Surprise guests with a little bespoke box of your favourite items to double up as favours; whiskey for the boys, diddy’ Champagnes for the girls, chocolate to melt on marshmallows for the hungry ones at the end of the night and copper toasting cups. Major heart eyes and fitting for these chillier months.
And, as for the cake? There’s not much we can say other than So. Darn. Pretty. The cutest copper companion for your chic winter ceremony.
