Bringing burgundy into your wedding can be done in the simplest of ways. To start, there are so, so many beautiful bridesmaids dresses out there that are in this colour, or similar that will compliment a variety of wedding themes and palettes.
Dresses we just adore are the Only Way dresses. We love the way that your bridesmaids will be able to wear them differently to mix up the look – and, if they are different shapes and sizes, then can be worn to whatever they find comfortable or suit their personality. Aren’t they just stunning?
As for the brides look, why not opt for a statement pair or shoes, or dainty accessories to gently entwine this colour through your day. Finally, the Grooms attire can include a burgundy buttonhole, a pocket square, tie or waistcoat – Tweed is the perfect accompaniment and can be married perfectly for a rustic chic feel.

Used carefully, burgundy can compliment deep purple hues such as plums and, in fact a huge variety of colours. Paired pretty with ivory, muted pinks or lush ever greens, it won’t be overpowering in any way – leading way for an abundance of colour throughout your colour palette, with pops of the focal colour, here and there.
Floral arrangements can easily be broken up or complimented with light pinks, olive greens and silver or gold. For a stunning rustic look, we love bright burgundy florals paired with green, plums and creams. Opt for a unruly looking flowers.
For a more formal floral look, we adore burgundy, plum, even deep red flowers styled together in a tight bouquet. Opt for flowers such as roses or hydrangea, they will look ever so beautiful!
