The Beauty Bible: The Future Of Brows…
Hello beauties! Ok, we are getting far too excited for this Sunday at The Talbot Hotel. Is that allowed? First of all it is out last fair of spring, which admitting, is a little sad, as we love spending time with Brides and Grooms-to-be and organising the most pretty and of course, inspiring shows. However, we are so looking forward to wedding season and witnessing some crazy beautiful weddings, are you getting married this year?
Anyway, we would love you to come and join us at The Talbot Hotel, Malton; we are announcing the opening of their *brand new*, and most gorgeous venue, York House. Along with being one of the first to witness this super chic venue, dedicated to weddings, you will be able to explore The Talbot Hotel, and their new permanent marquee. Of course, it will also be jam packed full with 30 suppliers, the area’s finest talent, including gorgeous gowns, delectable cakes, styling, floristry, and just about everything in between. A lovely day out for all the family
Reserve your free tickets here to snap up one of our goodie bags and look around this oh-so pretty venue🥀
Anyhoo, for today’s feature of The Beauty Bible, we are talking all things ‘Brow’ related; and by no means is this an easy topic to discuss, after all, brows aren’t the easiest of things to crack, right? I can’t be the only one who has that daily struggle of trying to make my brows look less like cousins and more like sisters?
One thing that could help both brides, and grooms (or anyone, for that matter) is microblading. Say “Buh Bye” to gels, pomades and pencils, why not go under the knife and have your brows professionally drawn on.
Now, i know what you are thinking, this may sound VERY drastic, however they are not actually permanent. And, that’s all because microblading pigments are not implanted into the skin as deep as traditional tattoos, meaning, the area will naturally fade overtime. Microblading typically lasts between 1 and 3 years, depending on your skin type and skin care routine etc.
If I haven’t got you convinced yet then i’m sure this will… after all, it’s taken the beauty industry by storm.
Unlike earlier iterations of brow inking that simply blocked in your brows like two large slugs at the top your eyelids, the idea behind microblading is to use a sharp tool like a mini scalpel to scratch tiny lines into your natural brows, so that they look just like individual hairs (it’s so micro-fine it’s sometimes referred to as “brow embroidery”). Done properly, and from a distance as well as close up, it’s impossible to tell the real ones from the ones that have been “drawn on”.
The final look, after the healing process is subtle, but stronger and denser eyebrows give your face new depth and dimension, and, make you look groomed even without make-up. Plus, remember with it being semi-permanent, it only lasts on average 18 months, so you’re not committed forever. Win, win!
Not only is microblading suitable for weddings, but too for special occasion, holidays, or just for a more defined look on a day to day basis. After all, it’s not like you will ever need an excuse for perfectly defined arches, right? Or a pamper session (if I a can call it that?).
Oh, and having new brows is THE perfect excuse to try stronger lipsticks, bolder eyeliner – or just do nothing and still feel “done”. If brows are the ultimate frame to your face, then microblading must be an investment worth having
Have you tried microblading before? What are your thoughts, do let us know in the comments section below💕 Have a lovely weekend loves, we will look forward to seeing you all at The Talbot Hotel & York House, this Sunday x
