Bright and fun, it’s time to be optimistic and welcome the season of love!
That’s it: January is over. You’ve done it – the cold month of low budgets, diets and alcohol abstinence is over, and we’re heading into the season of romance: February!
We’re feeling optimistic and even daring to think about summer (did you see that our partner, Boots.com, have got swimwear and suncream in their stores? They’re certainly leading the way and spreading the summer vibes!). Therefore, we’re thinking bright and loved-up with this week’s Hot Pink Monday Moodboard. What better way to welcome the Valentine’s month?
Don’t think prom: think classic, elegant and statement. You might remember our post last summer about the trend for beautiful, blush wedding dresses, featuring glamorous women such as Portia de Rossi and Gwen Stefani in stunning pink-hued dresses (you can see Gwen below!). Go bright with fun bridesmaids’ dresses, or choose subtle hot pink in a delicate headwear, such as this stunning piece from Etsy, or even cute groom’s party socks!
Style your wedding venue in hot pink, pairing it with classic grey to soften (look to Brides.com) or bright green to make a bold and fun statement: we love the limes and the gerbera from Wonderful Wedding Themes! There are so many stunning flowers in natural bright pink hues that there are almost too many to choose from.
Our final Monday Moodboard takes a look at stunning stationery and cakes. Adorn a beautiful white cake with hot pink peonies, as spotted on Green Wedding Shoes, or tie your invitations with a delicate bow a-la Wed Bits.
