Monday Mood Board: A Country Botanic Inspired Wedding…
Hello lovelies! We do hope you all have had the best Easter so far? I have definitely eaten my own body weight x 2 in chocolate, Sunday roasts and Yorkshire puds, I also could get very used to these long weekends. What are you getting up to on this fine Monday morning?
Whilst today may be a bank holiday, we are still here bringing you some gorgeous inspiration to kick start your day. For this weeks edition of our feature, Monday Mood Board, we are looking at all things botanic, country and of course, oh-so pretty to help you think of idea’s to style your wedding. Today’s mood board are for the Brides, and Grooms that are seeking something a little out of the ordinary and we aren’t going to lie, this was inspired by the *most* gorgeous renovation at The Talbot Hotel, Malton. Their brand new York House is a venue dedicated to weddings and is a true sight to behold, it’s go that old english charm about it but with a modern, elegant twist.
We hope you love today’s boards as much as we do…
Colourful Botanics & Clean Lines…
In this palette we are swaying towards lush blooms, all things colourful and that ‘old English country’ vibe with a little modern twist.
Here at The Wedding Affair we are crushing over florals with huge pops of colour for a nearly glamorous look to your wedding, however this does not look at all over the top when contrasted with fresh white walls, plenty of fresh foliage (‘Hello’ Pantone Colour Of The Year) and a combination of colours that compliment each other stunningly.
The top image on the right is a perfect example of how to rock those colourful blooms in an understated way, we would be sure that these too would look b-e-autiful as a bouquet too. Get in contact with one of The Wedding Affair Approved florists to see how they could hep with your special day.
A Pop Of Pink…
Of course, pink had to be at the top of our list too. You can’t go too far wrong with shades of pink for a romantic and oh-so elegant affair.
In this mood board we are looking at the different shades of pink and how they can be used together to really create some glamorous, yet ethereal pieces for your wedding.
Adding touches of ribbon to your bouquet not only adds a hint of sophistication, but too can be used throughout your styling. Why not entertain ribbon through your bridesmaids hair?
This board is a subtle reminder that even if you are choosing to have a country bohemian, beautiful botanic wedding it too can be glamorous and modern by adding subtle metallics and too those geometric shapes as shown in the board above. The contrast is a stunning wedding theme that will create lasting impressions.
As always, do let us know what you think to this theme in the comments section below x
